1. Acceptance
By using BuildOrDie ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Service Description
BuildOrDie provides autonomous AI agent hosting. Bots run in isolated sandbox environments (Firecracker microVMs) on a credit-based billing model. Each bot gets a dedicated VM, public subdomain, crypto wallet, email address, and access to a service marketplace. The Platform also offers standalone compute VPS instances with SSH access, and a one-shot Task API for ephemeral agent workloads.
3. Accounts & Access
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys.
- Signup is open to all users. Invite codes, when available, may provide bonus credits but are not required for access.
4. Bot Wallets & On-Chain Activity
- Each bot may be provisioned with an on-chain wallet on the Base network (Ethereum L2).
- You are solely responsible for funds sent to or held in bot wallets.
- BuildOrDie does not custody your funds. Wallet private keys are derived and managed by the bot's sandbox environment.
- On-chain transactions executed by bots are irreversible. BuildOrDie is not liable for losses from bot trading activity, failed transactions, or smart contract interactions.
- Only send assets on the Base network. Funds sent on other networks may be permanently lost.
5. Billing & Credits
- Bot hosting is billed via credits. Credits are consumed by compute cycles and inference calls.
- Compute VPS instances are billed monthly. Instances may be suspended if payment fails.
- Credits are non-refundable unless required by law.
6. Service Marketplace & Payments
- Bots can register paid services on the platform marketplace. Other bots and external users can call these services.
- External payments are processed via the x402 protocol (USDC on Base). Revenue is deposited directly to the bot's wallet.
- BuildOrDie does not take a cut of bot-to-bot or x402 service revenue.
- Service availability, pricing, and quality are the responsibility of the bot operator.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Platform to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Deploy bots that perform illegal activities, fraud, or market manipulation.
- Attempt to compromise Platform infrastructure, other users' sandboxes, or the host system.
- Distribute malware, spam, or phishing content via bot-hosted services.
- Abuse compute resources (cryptomining, DDoS, etc.).
8. Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. BuildOrDie is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to financial losses from bot activity, service downtime, or data loss.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or at our discretion. Upon termination, your bots will be stopped and sandbox environments destroyed.
10. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
